Walt, thank you for your review. I am thrilled your vehicle was delivered considering the many challenges we faced. As you recall, the original quote we provided was based on a pick up and delivery address quite different from where you actually needed your inoperable vehicle transported. In fact, it was over 70 miles further than we had originally quoted, and was to be picked up on the Florida Keys- an area where most carriers apply a premium of $100-150 due to the difficulty in navigating the narrow highway there. At AutoStar we worked diligently for weeks in arranging transport at the price we had originally quoted, even though the locations were different due to no error or fault on our part. It seems that your review, for the most part, is feedback on the carrier, which we do appreciate. I am glad that you acknowledge that though the carrier took several days to deliver your vehicle, this was due to the 3 day Labor Day Weekend. I do hope that you recognize that all of us at AutoStar, from the owner, to supervisors, to our customer service team, and I worked very hard on arranging this transport and kept it at a price that did involve other issues that we were unaware of when we provided you our quote.
