I cancelled my order because I believe that Auto Transport Logistics, LLC, (ATL, LLC) was not being honest about their ability to find a driver for my auto transport from Washington D.C. to Westminster, Colorado. I contracted with Auto Transport Logistics, LLC, (ATL, LLC) on 8/22/11, gave a deposit of $175. A driver was found on 8/24/11 for 8/27/11 delivery. My daughter was out of town during this time which was explained to Dale on 8/17/11, upon my inquiry about the transport. I advised Dale that my daughter would not be in D.C from 8/24 - 8/30/11, before I signed a contract. So why would a transport be arranged for 8/27/11 in the first place? Dale knew this. Never once did Dale explain the 5 day before or after window (which is in the contract), which I feel should have been mentioned since I explained in detail my plight. I called and left a message advising that 8/27/11 would not be possible and was told that the truck that was to come on the 27th was having mechanical difficulties, which meant that even if my daughter was available, her car would not have been picked up by that company.
8/29/11, when I called to get a new appointment, I was advised by Jimmy about the 5 day window before and after the requested move date. He was quite adamant about it, even though it was apparent that he still had no new auto move plan for me. With time drawing closer to the critical date of 8/31/11, it was more and more difficult to get in contact with anyone. When I called Jimmy was not in the office. I left messages, called back with no answer, just voicemail. My concern also is that I did not receive any call back on the 30th from your company. Which led me to be quite concerned about ATL, LLC's business practices.
8/31/11, Jimmy seemed frustrated with me and he went over his notes. At one point I was told by Jimmy that someone else was working on my account, but when I spoke to Peter, later in the day, as i had been told earlier that Jimmy was working on the account. Peter assured me on the 31st that he wanted me to give him a couple of hours and he would call me back and let me know the status. I told Peter that I needed to have a Plan B, because my daughter had a plane ticket to come to Colorado on 9/1/11. But, disappointedly, to date, I have not received a call back from Peter or Jimmy. I again left a message, (8/31/11) for a status update.
It is now approximately 10:04 am EST and I have not heard from ATL, LLC company to discuss a new move date, when I was told that everyone was working so hard to get my auto moved.
I also requested that my $175 deposit be refunded, because is seems apparent that a carrier was never found for my move. I have had several vehicles transported and have never had this experience. I trusted that ATL, LLC, would try its best to have the car picked up on the 31st, not before or after, which was my past experience. I asked Peter for honesty, I am still waiting.
I wanted to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Auto Transport Logistics, LLC.
Please note that the email addresses provided by Auto Transport Logistics, LLC, failed and my email was returned to me, as failed. Another indicator of severe failure.
