Overall we were satisfied with the service we received from Auto Transport Connections as the actual auto transport company they set us up with, Y&R Transport was excellent. They picked up and dropped off exactly when they said that would, which made the necessary additional planning very easy for us.

One thing we were disappointed with is that we requested our car be delivered from Point A to Point B and received price quotes for this request. In the end, however, they were not able to honor the request, without finding a second transporter to deliver the car the final leg of the trip at an additional cost or reducing the cost if delivered to their ‘only drop-off option’. Even after waiting an additional week there was no direct service to our place which in the beginning seemed to be no problem at all. Now if this was going to be a problem, we should have been informed of this before we agreed to use this service. We would not have had any problem paying a little bit more to have the car delivered directly to us, but felt as if they were aware that delivery directly to us could be a problem, but never said anything. Unfortunately, we already canceled the other offers received and did not want to go through the whole process again of searching for a new company. I know that Auto Transport Connections LLC will reply and claim they are just the broker and not the carrier, BUT even as a broker one should give out quotes which they can adhere to and not afterwards have to price higher or change destinations. In the end, we had the cost and effort of getting to the drop-off point which was 100 miles (!!!) away from us. The funny thing is, while being in touch with Auto Transport and even weeks after the drop-off, we have seen several car carriers in town dropping off cars. Now why could that not have been originally arranged by Auto Transport?

OUR ADVICE: To make sure that whichever broker you choose can deliver on what they promise at the quote made and that what you are getting is what you asked for and not what is most convenient for the company. DO NOT cancel on your other offers unless the truck is in front of your house and you have it in writing that it will be dropped off where you want it to be dropped off. First come, first serve seems to be the one and only rule in this very nontransparent industry.

AS STATED PREVIOUSLY, the actual auto carrier, Y&R were excellent, we would go with them again in a heartbeat.

Thank you Falko for taking the time to leave us a review and it was a pleasure in helping you with your transport. However I would like to clarify a few things in which you stated that were not completely accurate. When you placed an order with us I did however tell you this quote was an estimate of what we could transport your car from these states based off of our past transports. Our quoting system cannot determine weather you are in a rural area or not and being our of a major city by 100 miles is classified as rural. When I talked to our carriers and they said they would want more money to get to your location you said you didn't want to pay anymore and that you would rather meet the carrier in Los Angeles which is what we did for you. I was completely honest with you up front with how the transport works so I'm sorry if you were not completely happy with my service. I would however be glad to help you with any future transports if you are ever in need of one. Also you marked this review as a compensated one and it was NOT a compensated review.
