Have used AT123 for years, but....

Have shipped many cars over past few years with AT123 and they are generally very good, but have noticed a slip in service and pricing transparency in past few transactions. On my requested pick up date, I still hadn't heard anything from them so I had to call and was told they hadn't done anything with the order yet and it hadn't even been assigned yet. They got it done right then, but I shouldn't have needed to call to remind them. Pick up was a few days late as a result (when I placed the order, was told that a pickup on that specific date shouldn't be a problem since that route runs constantly and they would assign it to a shipper a few days before to make sure. That didn't happen.) Also, they used to give me a fixed price for their fee. Now, it floats higher when they contract with a shipper that charges less. The total price stays the same, but they just take a higher percentage. A $345 broker fee (was quoted $225) seems very excessive for the $750 paid for the actual shipper. People gave me different answers as to why. One person said they give the balance above the quoted $225 back to the shipper, but I've called two of the shippers that were used in the past year thru AT123 and they said they never got any additional fees from AT123. They could be more honest and transparent on this whole process. But, they do get it delivered reliably and the trucking companies they use have all seemed reputable and professional, but can't give them a 5 star anymore.
