This is the third time I shipped a vehicle due to a military relocation, and the second time we used Auto Shipping Group. I still had Lance's contact info and decided to get a quote. The first quote I received from a different company was nearly $1000 more, Lance quoted me $2300 to ship 2 vehicles from Florida to California. The huge difference in price was concerning but my first shipment 3 years ago went well so i decided to go with ASG. There were a couple hiccups, the pick up was a couple of days late (it's the peak of moving season so it was understandable, the company moving our household goods was delayed too). The price also went up $500 (which really sucked) but still less than what another company quoted me. The slight delay worked out in our favor because had the cars been picked up on time, they would have arrived sooner than we got to California. Lance communicated with me at every turn, he replied when I texted and came through with assigning a driver. When our cars were picked up (DDR Transport), Ray the driver was a really nice man. He took time to talk with us, introduced us to his family, meticulous in inspecting the cars and communicated a day before delivery. Cars arrived in good condition, with the little (typical) dust. All in all, it was a good experience in a usually unpredictable situation. Cars are precious possessions and shipping them can be scary, I'm glad I went with ASG and would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them.
