My daughter and I flew to MN from WA for a volleyball tournament, and although I had been looking at cars online I never thought I would be silly enough to purchase one out-of-state without some sort of exit plan, but that's exactly what I did. I purchased the car on Friday, 30 Jun while in MN and tried to work with the dealer to locate a shipper (this dealer is huge), but they used the excuse that it was the holiday weekend and they couldn't get in touch with "their shipper", as if a dealer that size has only one. I contacted a few shippers Friday afternoon, none of whom called me back like they said they would. I guess they take off on the weekends. After reading the reviews for ASG I decided to give them a call early Saturday morning, 1 Jul, and to my surprise someone actually answered the phone! I spoke with Lance and told him my situation, and he said he would do his best to find a shipper for me to get the vehicle shipped before we left the state on 4 Jul, 5 Jul at the latest. I spent the weekend fretting about having to drive the car thousands of miles home and resigned myself to doing just that, since I didn't want to leave the car there. I was pleasantly awakened out of a dead sleep early Monday morning (3 Jul) by a call from Lance, informing me he had a shipper that would pick my vehicle up that day!!! Lance gave me the contact information for the shipper, G-star, and I worked with them to pick the car up from the dealership that afternoon. It was a bit pricey, but so worth it!! I could not have asked for a better outcome. Lance was phenomenal! He deserves 10 stars for relieving me of the hassle of a 1,600 mile drive home. G-Star was equally great. The most positive experience I've ever had with a shipper, and I've had quite a few in my 20+ years dealing with military contract shippers.
