After many many years of research, saving, dreaming, planning etc., I purchased my dream muscle car. Of course, 99% of that research was on the car, not the transport of the car once I bought it! What a lesson that has been.

I initially went with a very well-known transporter that does major Auctions like Mecum etc. After three weeks of daily calls to them (always talking with different people) the story was the same "Well, things just haven't come together yet, but you never know, we could pick it up today, or it might be 2-4 weeks out, we just don't know". Wow! What a nightmare. Combine that with the fact that classic-car insurance companies don't insure vehicles unless you have them in your possession so they can take pictures etc, meant that my car was sitting uninsured in the previous owners garage! Wow! (Another lesson).

And so, another round of research lead me to Greg at Auto Shipping Group. My experience was night and day compared to the other carrier I had gone with. Every commitment that Greg made to me he kept, every expectation I had was met. He called daily, emailed me, followed up off hours, and ALWAYS kept me updated on how things were going. This personal level of accountability and customer experience went a long way to give me the peace of mind I wanted to know my dream car would arrive safely, on time, in perfect condition etc.

The car was picked up in white-glove style, on time, and delivered two days early! My insurance guy was there with me, waiting for the car to roll off the truck. He too commented on what great service it was, and he has a LOT of experience with classic cars and transport. Thank you thank you thank you to Greg and the team. As I drove off in my awesome new insured car, I knew that things honestly could not have gone any better! A great decision made.
