Stress free vehicle move

I have had several opportunities to deal with moving and shipping vehicles due to my years in a transient engineering company career and being an old car buff that likes to always have a project going. Recently purchased another old truck from out west and had it shipped to my Alabama location. Although it had only been a couple years from last having to arrange for a vehicle move, I had forgotten how overwhelming it can be to sort thru the phone calls and emails to select the shipping people you think are best for the job. Note that although having shipped several vehicles in the past I honestly considered the people and companies I had used in the past to be less than desirable with a list of issues like the bait and switch pricing, no communication leaving you in the dark, and mostly a real hands off approaches to customer service. When Chell Hart called from Auto Shipping Group inc. I was impressed with her detailed explanation of what was her honest market price estimate to get my truck shipped and was spot on about things to avoid that I had lived thru on other moves. She set up the job and had a transport company pick up within a couple of days as estimated. Throughout the move she provided constant updates and kept in communication with transport people. It was impressing that on day of pickup one of the other representatives from Auto Shipping group called to advise me of status – proving the companies one team approach and open communication. These people are going in my contact list for my next move, and I highly recommend you give them a chance to show you how a vehicle shipment can be a stress free experience.
