I was originally referred to the Auto Shipping group by a neighbor's daughter who had used them to transport a car. I emailed them for a quote, and they seemed slightly higher than some of the others. But I contacted Jeff directly, and he send me information explaining the process, how the whole bidding worked, and what I could expect. We felt comfortable that we didn't need the lowest bid, but we did need a person with attention to detail with good communication skills. And we checked the reviews carefully.

My husband talked to Jeff directly with more questions. As soon as I signed the contract, Jeff had a driver and date. My main concern was not the pickup date, but I had a two day window for delivery. Jeff was available by both email and phone and immediately took care of the one slight glitch- The car was supposed to be picked up between 10 am-1 pm, and I had talked to the driver that morning as had Jeff. By 2:30 pm the transport still wasn't here. I called Jeff who was told by the driver that "he had picked up the Ford". But it wasn't my Ford! The driver was still in the area and came about 3:40 pm. My son asked if he could put boxes and bedding in the car and the driver said OK because he was underweight with the number of smaller cars. Jeff called yesterday to say the delivery would be by 8:00 pm Monday night, and sure enough, the driver called at 7:50 pm to say he was outside the apt. building. No damage to the car-just some dirt. It was a great experience, and I will use Auto Shipping Group (and Jeff Vigue) again when my son moves back to CA.
