I contacted a broker to arrange shipment of a car. The broker arranged for Auto Movers LLC out of Mooresville, NC to transport the vehicle. I was given a cell number of a driver and the driver was given cell numbers for the pick up contact and the delivery contact. Auto Movers were scheduled to pick up the car on Friday. They did not arrive on Friday which is understandable but they failed to call so they wasted an entire day of the person waiting on them. On the receiving end, a call was placed to the person receiving the car at 6:30 in the morning to alert them that the car would be delivered in 3 hours. After 6 hours of waiting on the car, a call revealed that the car was just being loaded and would arrive in three hours. Again wasting an entire day for the person receiving the car. The car arrives in the pouring rain which is beyond anyone's control. The person on the receiving end signs for the wet car. When the rain water is dried from the car it becomes obvious that automotive fluid from another vehicle had leaked onto this vehicle during transport and the paint was starting to bubble. Several calls were placed to Auto Movers and the cell phone of the original driver but no return calls were ever received. The communication from these folks was pathetic throughout the entire process. They carelessly loaded cars without concern for leaking vehicles placed above other vehicles. They literally provided absolutely no customer service at all. The lack of concern for the vehicle and other people's time is simply embarrassing. This experience was as far from professional as one could ever get. Just pathetic.
