Beware!!

My experience with this company actually started off very well. A guy named Chael played the part of a very knowledgable person, confident in his companies ability to deliver on everything that is outlined in their initial, massive, generic quote email trying to give you advice on how great the company is and how you shouldn't trust others. All seemed well until I made my deposit over a month in advance of pickup time. Once the deposit was withdrawn from my account however this all changed. Everyone, including Chael seemed like they knew nothing about how their company operated when I called them. I always got shady replies and advice. 4-5 days out of the agreed pickup date I still hadnt hear anything, 3 days...nothing...two days called back and was fed the same BS. Day before I was advised that a truck still hadnt been found. Day of still no call. Then later in the day when it was supposed to be picked up I called and was treated the same way. Like my time and energy didnt matter. I was scheduled to fly out tomorrow. They told me I should leave the keys with the vehicle and everything would be taken care of. Of course I wouldnt trust them after what I had been through to do that. I had to call and cancel my flight and am now driving out to California from Texas. When I called and asked for a refund I was politely told to send an email to an address asking for a refund. After sending them email I receive one back 30 seconds later... another generic, I dont care what you have to say sort of email. It said that because I requested to cancel in writing either 7 days before or 7 days after scheduled pickup I forfeited my deposit. So in reality I was tricked into doing so over the phone by their costumer service person named Tom. This also means they give you a 14 day window for pickup. Who can make plans around that?! I would really caution anyone thinking about using this company. If my experience has anything to show for what this company is about I dont expect them to be around very long at all. The only thing keeping this company afloat is likely the $100-$200 they receive from people's deposits they take after they find out how shady and unprofessional they are. I can only imagine how this company deals with damages....

Dont fall into the same trap I did.

Hi Michael Owens, You have an oversized (7 feet tall) pick up truck. Readers should understand when you have a specialized vehicle that will not fit on most car carriers you need to be FLEXIBLE on your pick up time. It is unrealistic to expect pick up on a dime, even when you book in advance. We spoke with you every day you called. It is not shady to tell you we have not assigned the driver yet, it is HONEST. You wanted to be guaranteed the driver was assigned and would pick up on a dime with no possibility for errors. That is unrealistic. We were one day late when you canceled. Once you verbally told us you wanted a refund we composed our response and immediately replied. This gave you an opportunity to change your mind before you made other arrangements. Would you rather we waited a day to reply? There was no pleasing you, although we tried our hardest.
