Good Company, Great Customer Service, first company was a DOG

The reason I am not giving Angels the highest grade is because one of their vendors (Cargo Auto Transport, Leo the driver) let me down and Angels. We had scheduled to pick up my new Toyota Prius from Norwalk Toyota on Monday and deliver it to me Tuesday or Wednesday. I called Leo on Sunday night to make sure all was going as planned. All I could reach was an answering machine with a woman’s voice that said to leave a message. I left a message asking for a call from him to confirm he would pick up the vehicle Monday. I never got a call back. On Monday afternoon I called Leo again and got some lady live on the phone, I asked if he had picked up the car and she did not know anything, but she said he was in LA and she would have him call back. He never did, so I called the dealership and they said the car was still there so I called Angels. It was a little late in the day as I recall so we picked up Tuesday morning with me being a little mad because the pickup was never made. Angels was very accommodating and said they were going to find out what the problem was. I got a call back within minutes from Angels and was told that Cargo Auto Transport did not have any room on their truck so they just went on their route without communicating that to Angels or me. If I would not have been proactive I may still be waiting but I was told that Angel’s customer service would have picked up on the non pickup Tuesday morning. After a lengthy discussion and a lecture from me their customer service Dept. informed me that they would try and find another carrier. Finally by 4:30 Tuesday they found JMS Transport. A company out of AZ that runs cars from likes Washington State to Florida. I was told that Jeff the owner/driver would camp out at the dealership and pick up the car first thing on Wednesday morning. I got a call from Jeff Tuesday and was assured he would be there. Wednesday morning I got a confirmation that the car was picked up and was on its way here. Jeff said he had a few stops but would be here in the evening. Jeff called a few times during the day to update me on arrival status. The car arrived in great shape and the same day as the pick up. Jeff is a great guy and I would recommend JMS Transport in a heartbeat. I would also recommend Angels also. They are great people and should not be penalized because Cargo Auto Transport let them and me down. Angels has a good rep in the biz and they fire companies they sub with that don’t deliver. My guess is Cargo Auto Transport is a memory at Angels and rightly so. I would go to Angels again. It really was not their fault and they run a pretty tight ship
