Should have called Angels first!

Went with Cascade first, because they were "local" to destination. They quoted $1200 (fee of $175 and transport cost of $1025) but couldn't find a truck for that price. After 10 days I cancelled them and called Angels who had also quoted $1200. We agreed on a revised price of $1625 (fee of $225 and transport cost of $1400) in order to motivate a carrier. My 2005 Honda Accord was picked up in Wilmington, NC the next day by Mike of USA-UA Transportation and delivered in Seattle five days later in great condition. My only complaint is that it mysteriously gained 15 miles on the odometer between loading and unloading... I guess the lesson for others is that, with the current price for diesel, the automated quotes from all the brokers are at least 25% low.
