I used Angels after reading the reviews on this site. Glad I did! The price generally was in the same ball park as other transporters and although a few quoted $ 200-300 less, I was skeptical about using those companies.

I had to ship my car out at short notice and they advised that it may take upto 5 days (I think) before they can pick my car up. After I placed my order, they called back within 30 minutes or so saying that they had a truck that could pick my car up the next day. It may have been fortuitous but boy, that was quick! As promised, the trucker called me a short while later and gave me a pickup time the next day. Tim (the driver) of Tate & Sons (the trucking company) was very polite, courteous and on time. He explained everything I needed to know patiently. He even called me a few days later to say that he was in N. Dakota and would reach Washington in a few days. That was re-assuring. Angels called me the day after the pickup to inquire if everything went well. Tim delivered the car in exactly the condition he had picked it up in (considering that this was an open trailer!) and in good time. I don't remember exactly how many days it took but I think it took 10 days or so. Not bad for 2300 miles.

The reason I gave one point less on customer service is that after the follow up call after the pickup I did not hear anything from Angels- just the call from N. Dakota from the driver. I don't hold it against Angels but it would have been wonderful if they had kept in touch with me a couple more times during the shipping. But then maybe that is how transport companies work. Overall, I am very pleased and satisfied with this company and the ladies I talked to at Angels were all very helpful, cheerful and quick with their work. In fact, I recommended them to my colleague who is trying to get his car shipped across the country. I would use Angels again, definitely.
