The amount I actually paid for this transport of $800 was materially greater than the initial online quote I received of $575. They explained that it was the high cost of fuel and that I lived in an area that had relatively low volume in terms of vehicle pick ups. In addition, it took Angel's more than a week to locate a transportation vendor who would pick up my car. This was disappointing because my expectation was that this would only take 5 days (based upon my initial discussions with the company) but it took 9 days from the time I signed the contract on January 7th to the pick up date on January 16th. When I expressed my concerns to the company about the difference in cost as well as the delay in locating a vendor to pick up the car, they were very defensive. But, in the end, the actual transportation carrier was exceptionally good and the vehicle was delivered on time and in good shape.
