The folks at Angels were very helpful and found me a carrier in a very short notice. The PROBLEM i had was the carrier had caused some damage to my rear bumper. It took 7 days to transport from CO to WA and it arrived really late at night. I had to bring a flashlight to look over the car. Unfortunately the damage had already been done. I pointed it out to the driver and he denied ever causing the damage. He kept insisting that it was already there before the car was picked up. He made excuses that the seller who met him at the parking lot appeared to be drunk. I could not believe what I was hearing. I looked at the bill of lading, and there was no pinpoint of that particular area of the damage. The sad thruth is, I was in Colorado the day before he picked up the car to finalize the deal and went over the car and took pictures and this damage was not even present..

It was getting pretty late and I was very frustrated, I just wanted to take the car home after waiting for 7 days.. A few days later, I made contact with the driver and he still denies it. He only gave me $250 yet still won't admit to the fault. I filed a claim to his insurance company but the insured has a deductible of $1000 and the estimate came to be lower than the deductible, so I was basically left to deal with the driver. The cost of taking the issue to small claims court would prbably exceed the cost of the damage so there was no point. I knew at this point that this was a dead end. I guess i'll just have to charge this to experience.

I would use Angel's again should the need to transport arise, but I would make sure not to ever ever use ABF Auto Transport company again. So Beware!
