Yes, we did have Mr. Rabbit’s order for exactly 11 business days and we were unable to secure a driver for him. It is very unfortunate that Mr. Rabbit did not fully understand how the process in scheduling a pick up date works. Once we take an order we ask for the first date available. The customer then assigns that date. We inform the customers the AVERAGE pick up time for that route, however due to traffic, weather and other delays it is impossible to guarantee these dates (this is also explained verbally and in writing). 98% of the time we do fall within our pick up window, sadly in Mr. Rabbit’s case we did not. Our dispatch department worked on scheduling his truck and because of the terrible weather (on the pickup, delivery and in between) we still had not assigned a truck as of the 10th business day. As far as the human being responding to “I don’t know”, Mr. Rabbit is exaggerating this statement; our customer service representative answered “I don’t know an exact pick up date yet” several times after Mr. Rabbit demanded an exact pick up date. It was also called upon our attention that this customer had booked his vehicle with another company. He had 2 companies who use the same drivers trying to secure a truck for his pick up. This does not work, when then drivers see that the customers have their vehicles booked with several companies; they will not agree to haul that certain vehicle in fear that the vehicle will be scheduled on 2 trucks. After discovering that the customer double-booked the vehicle, we informed him that we would have to cancel his order, and end communication with him, this is when he threatened to post a bad review. Although we worked many hours on this particular customer, we have not and will not be charging him a fee and apologize for his upset.
