I hired this company to find a enclosed transporter to move my car from NY to GA. The
transporter they found, picked up the car on time and delivered early which was great.
Only to find out the car was damaged. I got the runaround from the transporter and I received very little assistance from America's Choice. Finally I did some investigating on my own with the insurance ceritficate America's Choice sent me on the transporter. The reason the transporter would not respond to the claim was that he had no insurance of his own, his was illegally using insurance that belonged to another transporter!!

America's Choice either never bothered to verify the insurance the tansporter gave them, or they knew he had no insurance of his own and did not care. After about two months I finally received payment to repair my car from the INSURED transporter not the deadbeat transporter that actually moved my car, with no assistance from America's Choice!!

My advice to anyone using this company is do not take their word for it that the transporters are insured. Do not assume just because they send you the transporters insurance certificate that it is in good standing or that he/she is actually the insured. CHECK THEM OUT YOURSELF!!!

Priscilla, The review you submitted is a complete lie! However, this site allows you to put whatever you want about a company and does not allow us to provide proof that you are posting a false review, the only thing it allows us to do is provide our side of the story... I spoke with you regarding you claim at least 6 times. Each time you phoned our office I returned your call, I have phone records to prove this. Also, the insurance that we faxed to you was valid, why are you stating that it is not? On the certificate we faxed the driver’s liability, cargo and garage keepers are listed. The cargo insurance company is the company you needed to file a claim with, IF you needed to contact the insurance, but you did not because the carrier informed you that he’d be paying you out of pocket AND he did. You shipped a 1992 Lexus; on the bill of lading on pick-up the driver noted down that there was bumper damage. On delivery there was an additional scratch to your bumper and the driver admitted that he did that scratch, which is why he paid the claim. The driver who hauled your vehicle was the owner of the transport company, so I am not sure what you mean when you stated that you received payment from the Insured transporter not the deadbeat, there was only 1 transporter (and you’re stating he was not insured??). The driver asked us to give him some time to get back to his office to review the paperwork that you sent him. Once he reviewed the paperwork you sent it he paid you in full. The vehicle was picked up and delivered on time-the only problem was the 1 scratch on your bumper. We apologize that you had damage, unfortunately sometimes damages do occur during transport and it was paid for. As a matter of fact your entire bumper was replaced at the expense of our driver, you should be thankful. America’s Choice Auto Movers
