I had been warned against shipping my car by various people, and reading some of the reviews on this and other venues almost scared me away from it. But the car had to get there, and I sure wasn't going to drive an Escort from MI to WA in late March, so I read all I could and took the plunge.

Thanks to all the people on this list who shared their experiences; it helped me narrow the field to a few companies and I chose America’s Choice Auto Movers. The first available date was 3/22, and I got a call at work the following Monday, 3/29. I met the driver BJ in a Sear's parking lot (glad I didn't have them come into my neighborhood--that hauler was huge). They were going to drive straight through and deliver by the following Wednesday (there must have been a sweetner for them to get there so early). Unfortunately, the trailer had brake problems that sidelined them for 2 days while new ones were machined, but the car still got there early Friday.

The vehicle was delivered dusty, as one could imagine, but wasn't expecting a clean car and neither should anyone else. There was no damage at all, and my sister, who was destined to take delivery was happy with how the drivers kept her informed as to their progress, and worked with her schedule to get the delivery done.
