I was shipping a brand new Dodge Ram pickup from Denver Colorado to San Diego. This was my first experience shipping a vehicle so I had alot to learn America's Choice Auto Movers was one of the few shippers who responded to my personal emails and phonecalls. Many low price shippers never responded. Most who did respond were very expensive.
America's choice had a reasonable price, they provided their DOT license number and assured me all their carriers were licensed, insured, and bonded.
When I agreed to a contract on a Thursday I understood it might take up to seven days for a driver to accept the transport so nothing would transpire over the weekend. Mid-day Monday I received an email that my vehicle would be picked up Monday or Tuesday. By the time I called the dealer from whom I was purchasing the vehicle Tuesday morning, my new truck had already been picked up and was on its way to San Diego.
The Monday email indicated my delivery would be Thursday or Friday. Tuesday evening, Nate, the driver, called me to inform me of his location, about five hours from San Diego. We made arrangements to meet 1/2 mile from my home on Wednesday morning, where he would have sufficient room to safely offload my truck.
Nate was there, on time, waiting for me Wed. morning with my new truck in excellent condition. Other than a few drops of dried dirt it was in perfect condition. Nate was cordial, friendly, patient, and thoroughly professional. His rig was as clean and sparkling as my new truck, an indication of Nate's pride in his job.
Excellent service, fair price, speedy delivery, and no-hassles was a pleasant surprise.
I understand not all drivers are as professional as Nate. And I understand that shipping to and from remote locations is not as automatic as my shipment was. But my experience was outstanding.
