A Nightmare!!

AAA Transporters quoted me a super low price to move my car from California to Louisiana. At the time that I booked the reservation I specifically asked the sales rep whether or not they had a driver that had agreed to move my vehicle at this price. She assured me that they did, whereas the drivers they had work only with their company. So with that, I gave them a $175 deposit and was instructed that my vehicle would be picked up between the following Friday and Monday. The rep then advised me that there was a "release form" that I needed to sign and that she would email it to me that same day. I did not recieve the "release form" until after I called her back two days later to request it. Surprisingly it was not a release form at all, rather a bogus contract which basically states that I cannot get a refund regardless of the delay in my pickup day. I reluctantly signed the release and made a few provisions to the contract. Given that they already had my money, I decided to cross my fingers that everything would go as planned. Friday came and I had not heard anything from them, I called and was told that my order was just sent to dispatch and they would call me back on Monday. Remember the pickup was scheduled to be between Friday and Monday. On Monday I called back and they still did not have a driver. After numerous calls and conversations with management, finally I was told that all the pickups in California were backed up and if I paid more money that may increase the odds of a driver picking up the load (which I refused)!! My car is still in California and I am planning to have it driven here instead. I would not recommend anyone to use this company or any company that requires a deposit up front.
