Started Sketchy, but Ended Exceptionally Well

I originally contacted another company for the job of moving my wife's car from Connecticut to Washington State. I'll admit, on Monday when I first put in my quote request, I only had 5 days before we would both be gone from Connecticut. The other company put in the order on Tuesday and waited for drivers to call back...by Wednesday, only one driver had called and couldn't pick up the car for another week. Not acceptable. Someone from American Auto Transport called me and indicated that she could have a driver there definitely by Thursday or Friday. So, I cancelled my order with the previous company and started one with American Auto Transport. The driver was supposed to call 8 hours prior to pick-up, but by Friday midday, he still hadn't called. So, I called the company and they said that he was running behind but would be able to pick it up on Monday. I left the keys with my neighbor on Friday. On Monday, I heard nothing. On Tuesday, someone called to say that the driver would be there in one hour. They also contacted my neighbor. They indeed picked up the vehicle on Tuesday. Amazingly, on Friday, I received a call saying that the car would be delivered the next day in Washington! Sure enough, Saturday afternoon, my wife called and said she had received her car and that it was in excellent condition. Despite the shaky start which was partially due to my waiting so late to place my order, American Auto Transport delivered my car in much less time than ever hoped for a cross-country trip like that. Overall, I highly recommend this company for fast delivery, great customer service, and good pricing. The price I was quoted was $1250, and the extra $33 was for transport fees charged by the driver, which were to be expected.
