My overall experience with American Auto Transport was satisfactory. I've used the company twice now to move my Chevrolet Tahoe to Alabama and back to California. The only negative part of the experience was getting a call from the company asking for an extra $150 once they found a driver. I thought the price we agreed upon was set. However, customer service agreed to reduce the deposit by $50 to make-up for part of the added costs. I agreed that was fair and went ahead with the transport. The car was delivered ahead of schedule which was nice, but was picked up a day after they said they would pick it up which caused a little problem coordinating with my friend 2,000 miles away who had to meet the driver for pick-up. The car was delivered in good condition and the driver was flexible in where we could meet. This was much easier to use than making the drive myself. The cost of gas, hotels, time and airfare would have been much more expensive, not to mention putting 2,000 miles on the car. I have recommended American Auto Transport to another friend already who is planning to ship a car cross-county. I would use American Auto Transport again in the future, but hope not to have to since my cross-country needs should be over with. Thanks for your help!
