When I first called American Auto Transport in April they were very pleasant and helpful in explaining their terms. I wanted our car shipped around the first week in May from Hollywood,Fl. to Schenectady, NY. I spoke with Bryan and he explained the average transport charge for that time of year was in the $800 range. I wasn't happy with the average charge but would be willing to pay $100 less and he said they would do their best to find a transporter for that. Over the weeks I called their office to see if they were having any luck finding a transporter. Someone always answered the phone, sometimes I was put on hold but not for long and when someone answered they were always pleasant and very helpful. I spoke with Steve and Jessica who were always as helpful as they could be. When it finally came close to when we wanted our car picked up we had to settle for the higher price. We were very pleased with the transport company they found for us, 1st Class Transport. The office called us, Pam, with the estimated pickup date and delivery date. The driver, Scott, called us when he was close to our area and gave us an estimated time of arrival, which was close to what he said. The only problem we had was he couldn't deliver the car to our door because his truck was too high to make it under a railroad overpass by our development. What he did was drive our car to our door and we drove him back to his truck which was only five minutes away. I would definitely do business again with American Auto Transport. Over the years my husband and I have delt with many auto transporters and had many bad experiences especially with phone contact. American Auto Transport clientele were the most congenial and helpful whenever I called them. I mostly would like to commend Bryan, who helped me from the beginning to decide to go with American Auto Transport, to Jessica who was most pleasant, to Steve and Tom from customer service who was most courteous and understanding in our telephone conversations.
