American Auto Transport is the worst auto transport company that I ever used. In the past, I have used DAS and they are excellent. American Auto transport never picks up your car on time, I was to leave New York on May 9th and they had promised initially to pick up my car on May 8th. When I never received any calls from them till 9 AM on May 8th, that raised a red flag. I called them and the customer service agent, Steve, is the worst person that I ever talked to. Richard Wright, the manager, never picked up his phone. I was worried as I was flying out of the city on 9th and had no one to take care of my car once I left as I was also moving out of my apartment. Finally, Steve said, they will pick up my car on 9th AM. By 9 AM on 9th, I had not received any calls. I called them again, again very poor customer service. Instead of picking up my car, Richard Wright charged my credit card for $150 (I had given credit card info to him 2 weeks prior). He asked me to call the driver. The driver was generous enough- he asked me to leave the car in the nearby truck station to pick up the car on May 10th. Lies after Lies- this company I will never use again and never recommend to anyone. Worst!!! Worst !!! Worst!!!, Beware!!!
The car arrived on May 14th in Florida- driver was good.
