Upon receiving a call from American Auto Transport, I quickly booked with them, without reading reviews. After reading said reviews, I immediately regretted my decision, and tried to cancel. I was told that Lisa, the lady I had booked with was not in the office, even though I spoke to her 15 minutes prior. I was also told that a driver had been booked for pickup monday, and I could call customer support to cancel, no problem. However, Customer Support was open Monday-Friday, and it was a Saturday. So I waited... Called them Monday morning, no response. Monday afternoon, no response. Tuesday morning I was at work, and they left a message confirming that vehicle would be picked up tomorrow.. I called again, and left ANOTHER message, and figured that since I hadn't heard from the driver, all was fine. That is until Friday comes around and I get a call from the driver who was here with my car, much to my surprise.
All in All, HORRIFIC communication. The other man at the office I talked to told me to chill out, because I kept calling. Maybe if you guys did something useful instead of telling me that you cant do anything. Also, I NEVER received a confirmation email, which I was promised.
I am glad that my car is here, and the carrier is a local carrier which is awesome, but a little customer service goes a long way. In the future, make more of an effort to contact your customers
