Just bought a brand new Harley in Florida Oct 2008. I rode the bike for 3 weeks in Florida before shipping it to Hawaii for my next duty station. Bottom line, Eli from American Auto Moving assured me, as does there advertising, that customer satisfaction is their #1 priority. They hired a a driver to pick up my bike at my house. The driver called me wanting me to drive 2 hours to Tampa because my destination was out of his way and he would lose money because of the gas he would use coming to get the bike. This guy was from Coval transport another company to stay away from. My Dad and I had to lift my 600lb Harley onto the trailer because he had no ramp and ended up scratching the frame!! I cut my hand and my Dad burned his leg on the muffler! They picked my bike up on 15 Nov 08 and I still havent rcvd it in Hawaii!!! Eli is a scum bag and doesnt return phone calls or email you the status of your shipment! I have called them 10-12 times and Eli says he will email me and never does! I have reported them to the BBB and plan on reporting Coval Transport as well. I hope my message gets to everyone that is think about using this company. Dont..seriously! The money you might save will not be worth it!!!
