Amerfreight and staff went out of their way to facilitate an awkward move with a difficult sales person from my auto dealership. I was appreciate of their service.
However, I do have comments for the transport website itself. Unless I missed it somewhere, the website should explain a lot more about the moving process including current market conditions and the fact that the intial quotes are auto generated by computer and may or may not be realistic in the call centre posting depending on delivery expectations. In my case, the number of cars in motion in the US at the time of my move far exceeded norms, so the prices were climbing as well because drivers could pick and choose the highest 'bidders' , especially if one wanted a timely move. In addition, my initial delivery location was to a northern state that had limited auto transport traffic. I ended up switching to a much larger city in the end to obtain my delivery in a timely manner. So thanks so much to Shereen and Graham who persevered and got me a good transport company in the end...they earned their fees.
My driver 'Jason' was also excellent and called me 3 - 4 times on route to keep me informed on his status regarding the targetted delivery time....very professional driver and service ....and on time. Bottom line...I got my baby in perfect condition in an open carrier across half the US.
