Looked up top companies online and decided to use local Atlanta company listed in top 5 brokers. My wife had looked on line and actually filled out information that must have gone to brokers and the phone started ringing. I do not recommend doing that. Do your homework, see the prices, all were within $100 and then call the company direct. I was pleasently suprised by Jasmine's knowledge of the business and her communication skills. The most important thing was her honesty, she did not over promise and explained to me how transport works. Basically, this company under promised and over delivered. She said it might be 7-10 days based on LA not having many cars to pick up. The company called the next day and said three drivers were looking to get the car.
I also trusted this broker only to deal with top rated drivers, which they did.
I think I called on a Wednesday night and the car was picked up Thursday at 5 and would have gotten to me Friday if it had not been for storms and traffic.
(Driver ran into heavy traffic the next day in Atlanta and asked if he could deliver the car the Saturday, which he did at the specified time.) The driver answered his phone and was very polite and picked up the car when he said he would. The emails with information on billing and payment were sent immediately by Amerifreight. The company and the driver did what they said they would do and explained everything up front. No extra fees tacked on, getting a company that selects good people to do the job is important to me. Excellent experience first time shipping a car.
