Admittedly my experience started out a little questionable. I had never shipped a vehicle before and I was initially given some imcomplete advice regarding the shipping methods and price. That original person is NO LONGER with Amerifreight and my case was afterward handled very professionally by the representative listed above.
I was afterward advised properly on how the costs were applied and on the shipping methods. At the time, I was not totally happy to have to up the shipping "bid" twice but that was probably more due to the incorrect low estimate given by the first agent than what the real, fair cost of shipping my car that distance would/should have been. When I later compared my shipping cost with that of other friends, mine was definitely very competitive given the overall cost and distance.
When the final bid was accepted, things progressed very quickly. The car was picked up and was delivered to my pick-up point almost 5 days ahead of the estimated time. I was initially told 7 to 10 days. This caught me a little off guard as I had to make some quick re-arrangements but was a big benefit in the end. I must also commend the transporter who did a great job shipping my vehicle safely and very quickly. They had a great rig too!
