This was my first time having a vehicle shipped so I was very apprehensive. I researched for days before choosing Amerifreight. I spoke with numerous other carriers but I chose Amerifreight because their price AND reputation were excellent.
I was nervous because it actually seemed too good to be true that a company would be in the price range as many others yet have a five star rating with a lot of experience.
Jonathan was very helpful and explained everything I needed explained. My son's vehicle. a Silverado extended cab, long bed, lifted pickup, needed to be picked up AFTER a certain date and could not be delivered until AFTER a certain date since he was out of the U.S.in the military.
I gave them the specific dates. I paid the deposit. Then the unthinkable happened, the truck needed a major unexpected repair. They were ready to pick up our vehicle but our vehicle was not ready. This distressed me greatly but they were extremely understanding and kept in touch with us with each available carrier that contacted them.
Our truck was ready exactly 3 weeks after our scheduled pick up date and they were there that day. The driver, Joe Perez from Loyalty Auto Transport, was very personable. My son's truck was larger than expected but he went out of his way to get it on his trailer. He had the nicest and largest trailer I had ever seen (I took pictures). I felt secure sending the vehicle with him as he took great care with it as well as the other vehicles on his load (he had to take one off and put it in another spot because ours was larger than expected).
I texted my son as soon as his truck was taken away and told him that his driver was a very pleasant man.
My son's truck was to be delivered in five to six days. It arrived six days after it left here. Right on time. As a matter of fact. My son texted me at 7:00PM PDT telling me he was just leaving work to meet the carrier with his truck. At 7:40PM PDT he texted me again to tell me he got the truck, inspected it and paid the driver. Oh and that the driver was nice like I said. :) A forty minute transaction!! Amazing. I will definitely recommend Amerifreight to anyone looking to have a vehicle moved and will use this company again if my son needs his truck brought back here when he is relocated.
