OK, but not excellent

The vehicle was picked up on time. No issue, everything went well on the pick up day. However I thought my car will also be transported by the same person who picked up, but that found to be not right to my understanding. My car reached here around the target date, and I did look around the car to find out if anything was damaged, I didnot find any. So I drove the car back, but the next day when I took the car for car wash, on the way I noticed there is a big scratch in my seat. I am quite sure this was not present when my car was picked up. Also, I thought I can give my credit card to the transportation guy, but he said that is not their policy, which was also a news to me.

This customer shipped with our Select Rate, which includes AFTA. In a situation such as this, a customer can submit a claim to AFTA up to 48 hrs after delivery to help with compensation. A carrier's insurance will only compensate if the damage is noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery. There are occasions that a carrier will transfer the vehicle onto another truck to access smaller roads.
