Perhaps a difficult route...

Everyone I worked with at AmeriFreight was pleasant and helpful, however our overall car move was not entirely what I was expecting. This may have been because of a less common/popular transport route. Our car did not get selected/picked up by a carrier for 14 days after the initial "available" day. Toward the end, I upgraded our order to a "2-day guarantee" package through Amerifreight for an additional couple hundred dollars to make the car more "appealing" to carriers. Then, when a carrier with a closed truck was interested, I had to pay the extra for the closed truck if I chose to go with that carrier, which I did since we were desperate to get our car at that point.

Overall, I think that AmeriFreight worked hard to get our car shipped sooner and were very pleasant to work with, but the final bill was $500-600 more than I was initially quoted due to the late "2-day upgrade" (paid to AmeriFreight) and the change to the closed carrier (paid to the carrier).
