Amerifreight gave us a great price for moving our car long distance. Their quote was $100 less than the lowest we got from other companies, and when given the chance to match or beat Amerifreight, those companies said they couldn't. With the discounts given for students, placing the order online, etc., we saved almost another $100.

The carrier they chose, Down South, was little hard to coordinate with on the pick up side, but it was reasonable enough. The driver came just one day after the requested date. (I had agreed to a five-day window.) I had to drive to Wal-mart to meet the driver and he came earlier than he had said he would the day before, but it turned out fine. (Note: the price I listed on this site is before the discounts were applied.)
