I contacted Harry Davis at Amerifreight Inc. For a quote to ship my 2 cars from Boston to South Florida. His follow up is fantastic - lots of communication and setting expectations. One of my cars is a collector vehicle, so much larger than current car sizes. Harry put it out for bids, and kept me informed of what was going on. He found a driver and truck willing to do the shipping on my timeframes. I put the deposit down with Amerifreight, and the rest would be paid in cash on delivery. The driver came when arranged - just a bit late but had contacted me to inform me of that. So no problem. A very nice driver who clearly knew what he was doing arrived, loaded up my cars, tied them down, and prepared them for the trip. He was very familiar with putting the cars on the truck up those steep ramps - all went fine. He told me that he’d be there in 4 days (I had asked him to go a bit slower to allow me to get there). He took pictures of the car to verify condition, and off he went. EXACTLY on time, he called to say he was an hour away, then called again to say he was 10 minutes away. The cars were being delivered to a storage facility set way back from the street, so when he couldn’t find it he called and I went out to the street to flag him down. He came in, and expertly unloaded the cars. He was VERY careful - making sure that my collector car was carefully removed. We then looked over the cars, and they were in perfect condition. They weren’t even dirty from the open truck ride!! I HIGHLY recommend Harry Davis and Amerifreight - they checked in, kept me informed, found me a great qualified and experienced driver, and my cars were delivered safely to me in Florida. That combination of service, caring, experience, communication and on time performance makes them a 5 star review!!
