All was well overall; lacked transparency

I am pleased with the service provided by AmeriFreight in hindsight. On the day our car was to be picked up, our agent was available, helpful, and courteous, answering questions and making sure the process was smooth. On the days leading up to that day, though, we never were able to get our agent on the phone. We left voicemails and wrote emails, which were responded to, but it was nerve-wracking since it was our first time shipping a car. We were also told a carrier would pick our car up and that they would call us to set up a time, but we were never provided with the carrier’s information or company, which made feel unsettled. All was well in the end, and our car arrived at its destination in good time without any issues, but I would have preferred more transparency and information about the carrier as well as availability from our agent in the days leading up to the transport of our car.
