We are disappointed that this customer did not experience an excellent and smooth shipping experience with AmeriFreight.
Originally, the customer chose to ship with the Economy rate. With the Economy rate vehicles typically get picked up in 1-5 days. Closer to her shipping window, she communicated that she had a flight to catch; so our shipping agent strongly recommended the Priority rate. As in any shipping situation, delays can happen. We shared with the customer that she did the right thing in not leaving her key with her unattended car. We were disappointed to find out about the delay and that it caused the customer to reschedule her flight.
We do apologize for the lack of communication and nonprofessional way the carrier responded. Every carrier we use is held to certain standards and if those standards are not met, they are removed from our preferred carrier list.
