Initially i was very skeptical about using any transport service to move my car from Jersey to California. It seemed like it would have been much less of a hassle if I had pained through the cross country drive myself instead of risking damage to my car. Fortunately, everything with AmeriFreight went very smoothly.
I was extremely wary of the 5 day window pickup of my car but found that my car was picked up on the second day. Communication between myself, AmeriFreight, and K1 (the trucking company) was clear and stress free. They took about 50 digital pictures of my car upon pick up in the event there were any disputes regarding the condition of my car upon arrival in Los Angeles. Upon arrival in LA, my car was exactly the same, albeit a bit dirty for obvious reasons, but in great shape nonetheless. More importantly, the car was delivered perfect on time!
Overall I am very happy with choosing AmeriFrieght's service. Everything promised was delivered - not much more you can ask for. Where I think AmeriFrieght can improve is the communication during the transport. I didn't hear from them once throughout the transport of my car. In the end there was no need to communicate as there was nothing wrong and everything was going smoothly, but I would have felt a bit more at ease if I had been contacted about the status of my car halfway through its journey.
