I recently bought a car on eBay, and having never shipped anything before, I googled "Car Transporters". After reading many reviews, I went with the company that met two criteris: most economical AND no bad reviews. This was AmeriFreight. I called Chantelle, and we arranged a pickup. This being a busy time af year, I was informed that if they couldn't arrange a pick up within seven days, they would take $50 from their fee to sweeten the deal for a truck. This wasn't a big deal to me as I had no time line to keep. True to their word they did this. However due to a paperwork snafu between me and the seller, the car was not ready, when the trucking company was. No problem, I called Chantelle and she put my order on hold. When the paperwork was straightened out, I called Chantelle again and she got things going again. The car was picked up in Florida in three days, and deliveres to Maine in four more. All this at the original price of $680 + $35 Insurance, when others wanted up to $1100 for the same open carrier. A very helpful, friendly crew at AmeriFreight. If I need to move another car, I know who I will call.
