AmeriFreight quoted us a price and after our car stood, unmoved for at least a week, we had to change our quote. At that point, it was not worth it for us to try with another company although we contemplated it. We were offered different reasons for the delay but there never seemed to be any true sympathy for the delay. We ended up finally pay well more than we were quoted and, even though it had nothing to do with AmeriFreight, had to pick up the car at the location rather than receive it delivered to our address. So in the end, we paid more than we were told, waited much longer than we had thought and had to pick up the car despite being promised a home delivery. I would try another company before using AmeriFreight again.

The customer chose to ship with the Priority Rate option. About 99% of the time priorities are picked up within 2 business days. In this situation the vehicle had not had a carrier secured within the promised 2 business day window. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused Mr. Linnert. In order to get this vehicle dispatched quickly and to help offset additional cost to Mr. Linnert, our office split the difference of the additional amount with the customer.
