I bought a car online. The seller (in Connecticut) said the person making pick-up arrangements was good and came when he said he would come. The car was transported to New Jersey to a terminal and then put on a train in a covered container. It arrived here in Southern California six or seven days later and I got a call saying it would be delivered by truck in a day or two. The driver who delivered it was good, friendly, competent. The office said a credit card was OK, the driver said cash or a cashier's check but that was all right- I had cash ready because AmeriFreight said I'd need cash or a cashier's check.
