I contacted AmeriFrieght when I was still several months away from my upcoming cross country move. I expressed with Graham that a timely, and early if necessary, pickup to get my vehicle to CA by a certain date was my utmost priority. Graham was very informative through the process and worked to get me the lowest quote he could. While I was pleased with this aspect of my business, we did not get a carrier locked down until several days after I wanted to see the vehicle leave to ensure it would make it on time. Even so, it looked like we would meet my date requirement. I received a call the night before the pickup that somewhere in translation my information was miscommunicated to the driver and he would not be picking up my vehicle. I wasn't able to have the vehicle picked up until 3 days later. Subsequently, it arrived in CA later than needed and caused downstream difficulties for me during a complicated transition for my family. These are all things that should have been avoidable with an established priority and plenty of advanced notice. The good news was that the vehicle shipped cross country in only 6 days, which alleviated further difficulties.
