OK so here's the deal my car was an old 1970 Cadillac Eldorado it was Dimmit Texas a rural area in the middle of nowhere and my house was in the middle of nowhere in Northeast Louisiana. I had hell and high water trying to find anyone who would even TAKE my case. I found out pretty quick that if a carrier has to drive to rural areas they're either going to ignore you or charge you so much that you'll leave them alone. I had people who wanted to charge me 2 or 3 dollars a mile and after a while $1500 to ship my car sounded like a STEAL! And it was going from north Texas to northeast Louisisna not from one end of the U.S. to the other! I was about to pull my hair out until Miss Lecia at Amerifrieght shot me a $500 quote! I was so relieved that maybe JUST maybe I wouldn't have to pay more than I did for the car just to ship it. Anyway the next day she found some one to take my case a small carrier based out of MS. Really nice people. It ended up being $795 altogether but at this point I didn't care I was just glad it wasn't $1500! Anyway within 2 or 3 days I got the car even though the carrier had trouble with their truck halfway they still came through for me as the owner of the company delivered the car himself! Car was not damaged or missing anything and I gave the man his money, he was happy I was happy and the story ends there. Just today Lecia called me to check up on me and I told her I was completely satisfied and in my opinion IF I ever need to ship a car again I'm DEFINITELY going with them and will try to get in contact with her again.
What I really loved about the Amerifreight company was the fact that I got a PERSON on the phone and they immediately tried to work with me and help me out. Lecia was serious about my case and tried to help me out as much as possible. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate a business that treats you like a human not another paycheck.
Lecia asked if I would do a review and I don't normally do reviews even though she offered me a $50 discount at one point. But I figured "eh she and the company were really good to me I really should" so here you go miss Lecia I HIGHLY appreciate everything you did!
