I contacted the company (AmeriFreight) via phone several times, and it took a few days before they can find a carrier (ARTT77 Inc). No matter how advance you tried to schedule (in my case I called close to 2 weeks beforehand with a specific pickup date), it seems like they always waited at the very last minutes to set you up with a carrier. At that point (3 days before I have to move), I have no other option neither that I have time to find another transportation company. So, I ended up paying around $200 more as they said the carrier requested. They said it is door to door rate, but the driver couldn't find unloading area close enough to my apartment. So, we ended up picking up the car 35 mins away from our home. Other than that, my car made it fine to Seattle. With minor uncomfortable cigarette smell, as I saw a help/crew was smoking while sitting on my driver seat. At least he left the door open, and quit smoking when I pulled in close to the trailer.
