I live in CA and purchased a 1991 Toyota Supra Turbo in MD. I decided on open transport so after a significant amount of online research decided on AmeriFreight. They simply had the most positive reviews. It's a jungle out there so one has to be careful! After signing up on line I received a call from AmeriFreight agent Ali Miller who was very informative and helpful. My case was particularly difficult as I would be away overseas on the anticipated date of delivery. I therefore had a friend receive the car for me and added the detail as a special note on my online request. Ali Miller took great care of the detail and made sure that everybody was on the same page all the time. Since AmeriFreight is a transport broker, they solicit carriers for a particular transport assignment. In my case they found a carrier within three days at a competitive rate, although it was a little more than the initial quote I received from AmeriFreight (which is standard practice). The total cost from MD to CA was $1350.00. The car was picked up on the Saturday which was about one week after I contacted AmeriFreight for the first time and delivered to CA on the Friday. The car was in perfect condition, no dings or anything of that nature. I can recommend AmeriFreight without hesitation any time and Ali Miller was an excellent agent for the company as well.
