Used Amerifreight to ship from CA to a rural location in WA. The initial contract and bid placement was very smooth. The estimate was under priced and no bids were recieved for about 10 days at the quoted $695 (including commission). During that period, communication with Ameritrade was infrequent but satisfactory. A counter bid came in for $975 which I accepted since I needed to get the car moved. Overall, experience was ok, but could have been better if Amerifreight estimated the final cost more accurately. Excluding commission, shipping cost was off by 50%.
