I had shopped around and spoken with many companies trying to find a good rate and at the same time looking for that company that was knowledgeable and discerning about who they contract with. Since this was a coast to coast transport and during the first part of September, I knew that Labor day would be a very busy time. In addition the car that I was shipping is 40 years old, large and weighs twice what many of today's car weigh. Even with all those challenges AmeriFreight was able to find a reputable company. I was very surprised to see an email and receive a telephone call saying that they had found a transporter.The transport company was near the location of where the car was being kept. The transport company picked up the car on the specified date and delivered on the day promised for delivery. The progress of the transport was communicated by the transporter . upon arrival the vehicle was thoroughly inspected and no damage was noted. The driver was courteous and professional. I was very happy with how well this was done.
From the start of the transport to the end Grahm with AmeriFreight had also checked with me to be sure there were no problems. I would recommend AmeriFreight to anyone who has auto transport needs.
