While I was not looking forward to the experience and possible issues associated with transporting a car across the country, I was pleasantly surprised by the results. I paid extra ($300) to get a guaranteed pick-up time which proved to be a good move. The car was picked up on the same day that the order was placed which was a plus and was delivered within the window quoted but days ahead of the latest possible delivery date. All in all, I was very pleased with the outcome but remain amazed at the high cost of transporting a car ($1695 total). That being said, Amerifreight's price was well within the range of all other companies I checked with and they ultimately delivered ahead of schedule. The car was in the same condition with all items intact. The car was transported in an open vehicle so it was dirty but that was to be expected. Once my daughter received her car, we were both relieved. Thanks!
