This was my first time shipping a car. I was very leary of the whole process. By using Amerifreight, I felt a little more comfortable shipping. Being in a rush to move, sell a house, ship a car and travel across country, using Amerifreight appeared to be the easiest way to go.

The whole process was very confusing, such as the different levels of service, and pickup and delivery times. By asking for a speciific delivery date, I paid more. It sounded as though the shipping company would charge more. No, the broker got the extra money. I was unhappy with being charged $450 by Amerifreight.

The bad part to me: I felt like everything was vague. No specific times, no specific amount charged. Just give your credit card number then wait and see what happens. This was scary to me. It seems like the broker get an excessive amount for posting a vehicle on the board, while a trucking company is driving your vehicle to a destination.

The good: Howard trucking was wonderful and once they picked up the car I was completely sure my car was in good hands. I knew nothing about shipping, so I was happy with using Amerifreight. I wanted a reputable shiipper and to make sure the trucker had insurancand . I feel Amerfreight provided that.

Confusing review, but after listening to other brokers, they seemed to be the best.
