I have shipped a car in the past with Amerifreight and it couldn't have gone any smoother. Hence, my expectations of having the same reliable and smooth transaction taking on another shipment where the same. The time of processing was great and the car ultimately shipped on time and undamaged. However, the quote I agreed upon, signed the contract and was ready to pay was changed at the delivery end and I was expected to pay another 100. Long story short, it took a grueling 3 hrs on my moving day morning haggling and arguing on the phone back and forth between Amerifreight, the delivery company, the drivers and their finance departments to clear the mishap, accept the original offer and hand me the keys to my car instead of taking it back. Time was money for me and due to the delay was charged 3 times that for late delivery of my sitting moving truck and labor, the time spent trying to resolve this unexpected matter. In the end, the car was finally released to me and the companies assumed responsibility for the price difference. It was definitely a crazy process but the job was ultimately completed.
